Company Overview
Indoor Science is an industrial hygiene and indoor air quality consulting firm founded in 2004 by Ian Cull, PE, CIH. The company supports clients across hazardous material surveys, exposure monitoring, indoor air quality assessments, microbial and moisture intrusion investigations, and building science-related consulting. Our clients include owners and developers, property and facility managers, tenants, insurers, general contractors, specialty contractors, and residential clients. Based in Aurora, Illinois, our team combines technical credibility with strong operational support, giving consultants the autonomy to manage their own projects and client relationships while having access to senior technical resources.
Position Summary
The Senior Consultant, Industrial Hygienist is a full-time, exempt professional who independently manages projects from proposal through field execution, reporting, and client follow-up. Exercising discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance, the Senior Consultant, Industrial Hygienist owns client relationships, determines appropriate sampling strategies and methodologies, evaluates field conditions against applicable regulatory standards, and develops practical recommendations for clients. This is a high-autonomy consulting role for someone who wants to manage projects independently, grow within a respected indoor air quality and industrial hygiene consulting platform, and, as the role matures, mentor junior staff and support business development.
