In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping AI interactions and experiences by designing clear, trustworthy content that enhances user engagement and comprehension. You will lead significant AI initiatives, ensuring that language and interaction frameworks are effectively integrated into product designs. This hands-on position allows you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to turn complex AI functionalities into user-friendly experiences, impacting how customers interact with technology daily. A critical component of your role is mentoring others and keeping abreast of evolving AI design trends, ensuring the creation of meaningful and coherent user experiences.
Accountabilities
- Lead hands-on content design for priority AI initiatives and agent experiences, from early concept through launch.
- Define and evolve scalable language and explanation frameworks that guide how AI communicates intent, actions, uncertainty, and outcomes across agents.
- Design clear in-product explanations, prompts, and feedback loops that make AI behavior understandable and actionable for customers.
- Partner closely with AI, experience design, product, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive, trustworthy user experiences.
- Translate AI platform guidance into practical content patterns that teams can apply consistently.
- Provide strategic guidance and enablement, assisting teams in applying shared content frameworks across various use cases.
- Mentor and coach designers and cross-functional partners through active critique and collaboration.
- Stay current on AI interaction and design trends, applying insights to enhance product development.
- Utilize storytelling and clear communication to explain decisions and influence project direction.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in content experience design with demonstrated systems thinking.
- Hands-on experience in developing AI-driven product experiences, including conversational and embedded systems.
- Strong ability to design language and explanation patterns that enhance the understandability and trustworthiness of AI interactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to mentor and communicate clearly across disciplines.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, shaping new practices as AI capabilities evolve.
