Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nEaton\u0027s Aerospace, Mission Systems Division is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator, for our Orchard Park, NY facility. The Senior Contract Administrator role provides contractual guidance, helping to conduct contract negotiations, negotiating terms and conditions, overriding agreements, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements in accordance with corporate policies, reviewing and managing contracts, changes in scope, equitable adjustments, helping to ensure contracts are properly structured and executed within budget in accordance with company policies, customer specifications, statements of work, government regulations, administration of contracts, and compliance reviews of purchase orders.\n\n \nThis position is located in Orchard Park, New York and is available for Hybrid Scheduling.\n\n \nKey Responsibilities:\n\n \n\u2022 Demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in contract management concepts. \n\u2022 Negotiate complex terms and conditions, identifying and recommending mitigation solutions for onerous terms and conditions. \n\u2022 Advise program and senior management of potential program risks in accordance with the contracts policy, company goals and objectives and legal requirements. \n\u2022 Assist Business teams and purchasing by providing direction on contractual matters. \n\u2022 Provide guidance on U.S. Government Department of Defense FAR/DFARS/TINA/UCC/CAS/ITAR/EAR and other government procurement regulations. \n\u2022 Provide guidance regarding intellectual property concepts and their application. \n\u2022 Experience working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment handling a variety of high level contracting activities. \n\u2022 Demonstrate verbal and written communications skills that allow the individual to effectively interface with various levels of management both within the company and within the customer. \n\u2022 Strong problem-solving skills and ability to change direction as needed. \n\u2022 Prepares customer correspondence as needed in order to respond to customer legal issues and terms and conditions negotiations. \n\u2022 Evaluate assigned contracts in accordance with Eaton policy and procedures. \n\u2022 Assists in the administration of the purchase orders or contract. \n\u2022 Assists in the compliance review of the purchase orders and ensure alignment with proposal requirements. \n\u2022 Review and execution of Non-Disclosure Agreements.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Minimum of 3 years government contract or subcontract administration experience in the defense contractor manufacturing environment. \n\u2022 Minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree, from an accredited institution. \n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience with negotiating price and terms and conditions including reduction of risk through identification of onerous terms and conditions. \n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience with FFP (Firm Fixed Price), CPFF (Cost Plus Fixed Fee) and T\u0026M (Time and Materials) UCA, Risk Work Authorizations, contracts within a manufacturing environment. \n\u2022 Relocation is not provided. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Eaton\u2019s Orchard Park, NY facility. \n\u2022 This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
