Senior Copywriter (Temporary)

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Write effective, impactful copy that aligns strategically to the brief


• Complete assigned projects on time


• Serve as a resource on the product and therapeutic area


• Confidently juggle several projects at the same time


• Skilled in the referencing/annotating process, partnering with Editorial to maintain core claims guide and editorial style guide


• Collaborating and communicating closely with Art partner, offering creative solutions with a given deliverable


• Leading client presentations; presenting creative work in partnership with Art partner


• Lead MLR meetings to discuss feedback and offer copy solutions during meetings


• Develop close partnership with Medical, Art, Editorial and Studio team members
  

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  
  
  
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Medical degree preferred, but not required
  
  
  • 5+ years of experience
  
  
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in pharmaceutical advertising, with emphasis on social/digital deliverables targeting HCP and DTC audiences, social/digital is a plus
  
  
  • Proven ability to understand multiple therapeutic areas with an emphasis on HCP audience
  
  
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to write in different tones for different audiences (HCP and DTC)
  
  
  • Ability to write (and rewrite) effective, impactful copy that aligns strategically to the brief with minimal oversight
  
  
  • Delivers pharma campaign concepts
