Job Description - Senior Corporate Accountant

This position is based out of our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.  


The Senior Corporate Accountant will directly support the Supply Chain business unit as part of the Corporate Accounting Group and reports to the Director, Corporate Accounting. This role demands a high-performing accountant who possesses strong accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently meet tight month-end deadlines. A strong starter who knows how to stage and prioritize their work to meet a seven day close timeline is best suited for this role. Other activities as part of the group may include fixed assets, commission reconciliations, and support of other brands as needed during critical business times. 


Key Responsibilities: 



  • Execute recurring and ad-hoc journal entries, maintain GL integrity, and drive month-end/year-end close tasks on tight deadlines, producing draft financial statements and supporting schedules. 

  • Own and prepare timely, accurate reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, A/R, A/P sub-ledgers, and fixed assets, including detailed variance analysis. 

  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting using NetSuite (preferred), FloQast, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). 

  • Lead preparation for financial, bank, and sales tax audits, providing strong documentation and support for any reported or selected amounts. 

  • Collaborate with management, FP&A, auditors, and business partners, proactively identifying and resolving variances, and providing context for variances. 

  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.  


About you: 



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or other related field. 

  • 4+ years of progressive directly related accounting experience 

  • NetSuite (preferred), experience with another similar ERP system also considered. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint 

  • Firm knowledge of basic US GAAP
