Senior Corporate Controller

Job Description - Senior Corporate Controller

Exodigo is the leading underground mapping solution for non-intrusive discovery. Our platforms combine multi-sensor fusion, 3D imaging, and AI technologies to create complete, accurate underground maps that enable confident decision-making for customers across the built world. We transform the project lifecycle for our customers, who include key community stakeholders in the utilities, transportation and government sectors.

We are experiencing sky-rocketing growth and closed a historically large $96M Series B round in July of 2025.

We are looking for a hands-on and highly motivated Senior Corporate Controller to join our growing finance team and take ownership of key accounting and financial reporting processes. This is an opportunity to step into a broad and impactful controllership role within a global technology company, working with complex accounting processes and helping build the financial infrastructure needed to support continued growth.

The role offers significant professional ownership and exposure to global operations, US GAAP reporting, audits, tax matters, accounting systems, and the unique accounting challenges associated with internally manufactured operational assets. This position is focused on accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Take an active role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Own key areas of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate balance-sheet reconciliations and analyze accounting variances and account movements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve accounting workflows and ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data.
  • Support external audits, including the preparation of schedules, documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Support global tax compliance and the preparation of tax returns in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards, financial systems, and process improvements.
  • Help develop scalable accounting processes, controls, and reporting practices to support the company’s continued growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
  • At least 7 years of accounting experience, post-internship.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Experience preparing or supporting the preparation of financial statements.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a global, industrial, technology, manufacturing, or operationally complex company.
  • Experience in an organization with operational or accounting complexity involving inventory, cost allocation, internally manufactured assets, or fixed-asset capitalization.
  • Experience working with global subsidiaries, external auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Experience improving accounting processes or implementing financial systems.
