About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director, Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will lead the Corporate Legal team and be responsible for a wide range of corporate, compliance, and general legal matters, including M&A, financing, IPO preparedness, litigation, internal governance, compliance, and HR support. This role requires 5-10+ years of post-JD experience, with a strong background in advising technology companies on corporate matters, public company, and IPO experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience as an in-house counsel supporting employment and litigation matters, a JD from an accredited law school, and active Bar membership.As the Director, Senior Corporate Counsel, you will work closely with the General Counsel to identify and advise management on legal issues and risks, as well as to offer creative risk mitigation solutions. The role demands a proactive problem solver with a bias for closing deals and finding pragmatic solutions. The candidate should be adept at handling multiple projects with competing deadlines, be able to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and communicate professionally and respectfully.
