The Opportunity

• Create: Report and write an engaging mix of news articles, features, analysis/opinion pieces and executive interviews (text, audio and video).
• Engage: Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs and industry leaders to produce engaging and exclusive stories.
• Moderate: Host conversations and panel discussions with senior IT leaders through webinars, LinkedIn panels and at key ISMG summits and events.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the global editorial, social media and events teams to grow CIO.inc’s reach and influence.
• Research: Stay up-to-date on enterprise tech, cybersecurity and regulatory trends to bring clarity and authority to our coverage.

• Experience: 6–10 years in journalism, ideally covering the CIO community, enterprise technology, cybersecurity and business IT.
• Strength: Ability to generate suitable story ideas, conduct insightful executive interviews and deliver clear, compelling reporting.
• On-Camera Confidence: Comfortable moderating panels, hosting interviews and presenting at events.
• Community Mindset: Experience in building and engaging professional audiences through reporting, events or digital platforms.
• Knowledge Base: Strong grasp of enterprise IT, digital business transformation, security and emerging technologies.

📍Location: Manhattan, NY (on-site, Monday–Friday)
💰Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 (exact compensation dependent on experience level)
