Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Analyst to join our team at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, in support of Air Force programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and validating cost estimates for complex acquisition programs, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force regulations. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact mission-critical initiatives at one of the Air Force’s premier test and evaluation installations.

Essential Job Functions

v  Detailed cost-benefit analyses, preparing budget forecasts, assessing financial risks, and providing actionable recommendations to leadership to optimize resource allocation.

v  The role also encompasses Financial Management (FM) responsibilities, such as managing program funding, tracking expenditures, and ensuring fiscal accountability throughout the program lifecycle.

v  The Senior Cost Analyst will coordinate closely with Program Managers (PMs) to support milestone decisions, delivering cost data and insights critical to acquisition reviews and approvals.

v  Proficiency in cost modeling tools, such as ACEIT or Crystal Ball, and a strong understanding of lifecycle cost management are required.

Qualifications

v   Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

v  10 years + in DoD cost, specifically Air Force

v  10+ years in DoD FM

v  Secret Clearance required. As part of our pre-employment hiring process, background checks are performed on applicants without an active security clearance.

v  Ability to get SAP Access
