About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel, Agreements to join their dynamic team. This role is more than just a legal position - it requires being an indispensable resource and a visionary in the field of agreements. The successful candidate will serve as a dedicated subject matter expert, partnering closely with the Product organization to craft insightful agreement schemas and champion the legal perspective throughout the product development cycle. With a strong business sense and deep legal acumen, the Senior Counsel will be a core architect of the company's agreement management solutions, translating customer needs into powerful product features. Responsibilities also include decoding legal processes for non-legal professionals, conducting industry analysis, and supervising legal professionals in data labeling initiatives.Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney, with a demonstrated track record in drafting and negotiating a variety of agreement types. Experience in a legal technology software company, contract lifecycle management, and working with Product and Engineering teams is essential. The ideal candidate will have impeccable communication skills, a proactive and collaborative work style, and a passion for legal technology's transformative potential. Admittance to a U.S. state bar or eligibility for in-house counsel registration is required.
