About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a strong commercial and product focus to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of commercial agreement negotiations and advising on product development in collaboration with sales, customer, and product teams. This role requires a business-oriented attorney who can assess risk, provide clear legal guidance, and identify practical solutions that meet the company's business objectives. The Senior Counsel will also be involved in managing contract expirations, renewals, and amendments, engaging in risk assessment and mitigation, and developing new approaches to legal issues to support business goals.Applicants must have a Juris Doctor’s degree with 4-5 years' relevant legal experience, be a member in good standing of at least one state bar, and have a proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including procurement and strategic partnership deals. The role demands a candidate with a strong ownership mentality, a good sense of humor, and a team-oriented approach. Experience in assessing legal risk, providing practical advice, and working on cutting-edge legal issues is essential.
