About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Corporate and Securities with a strong background in legal matters related to a publicly traded entity. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of corporate, securities, and governance issues, including ensuring compliance with SEC and NYSE regulations, preparing and reviewing SEC filings, and providing support for board and committee meetings. This role requires a Juris Doctorate, at least five years of experience in a nationally recognized law firm or in-house legal department, and a detailed understanding of public company disclosure and reporting requirements.The Senior Counsel will also be expected to offer legal support to various departments such as finance, accounting, tax, and investor relations. Experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and subsidiary maintenance is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to set priorities and respond to changing demands. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet manipulation, and presentation software is necessary, along with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
