Senior Customer Support Specialist - Temp Assignment

HOYA Vision Care is seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Senior Customer Support Specialist (Temporary Contract) to support a short-term strategic customer program. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries accurately, professionally, and consistently in accordance with established training and guidelines.

While the primary responsibility of this position is to provide customer support as part of a short-term program initiative, the individual will also provide administrative and operational assistance to the Accounts Payable team on various tasks as assigned. Training will be provided for all Accounts Payable responsibilities.

The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, sound judgment, discretion when handling sensitive customer information, and the ability to analyze account details while following established procedures with precision.

Contract Details:

• Contract: Three months
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
• Completion Bonus: Bonus awarded upon completion of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Customer Support Responsibilities (Primary Responsibility)

• Respond to customer inquiries related to a short-term customer program via approved communication channels.  (Primarily Email) 
• Communicate program information clearly, professionally, and consistently while ensuring a positive customer experience and extending empathy appropriately.  
• Review customer account information and analyze account-specific details to provide accurate responses in a timely manner.     
• Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling customer information and sensitive business matters.
• Accurately document customer interactions as required.
• Escalate complex issues or exceptions through established channels when appropriate.
• Follow all training materials, scripts, processes, and program guidelines precisely to ensure consistency across customer communications.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Finance and other internal teams as needed.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and service standards throughout the duration of the assignment.
• Maintain professionalism and composure when managing challenging customer interactions.

Accounts Payable Support Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Payable team with administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when working with financial information.
• Follow established procedures and controls to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Participate in training and quickly learn assigned Accounts Payable responsibilities.
• Provide general support to the Finance team during peak workload periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of customer service, customer support, administrative support, finance support, accounts payable, or related experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Moderate to strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and execute processes accurately.
• Proven ability to follow instructions, training materials, and standardized procedures with a high degree of consistency and precision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and other business applications.
• Ability to manage sensitive customer and company information confidentially.

This is a temporary three-month contract position created to support a short-term business initiative and does not imply ongoing employment beyond the contract period.
