Senior Data Engineer

One of the world's leading private investment firm in Boston is looking to bring on a Senior Data Engineer to their new Data Governance team. This would be a unique opportunity to build out a Data Governance framework from scratch, providing your technical guidance to the team.

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain data governance technologies
Implement data-related standards and architectures in alignment with data quality, data lineage, and data discoverability strategic initiatives
Create check in source systems and data pipelines

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
3 to 5 years of Data Engineering experience, finance industry experience required
Professional experience with SQL and/or Python
Professional experience with Data Governance tools (Collibra, Atlan, Alation, etc.)
Professional experience working in cloud environments
