POSITION SUMMARY

Join us as a

Senior Data Visualization Engineer , where you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into visually stunning and actionable insights that advance healthcare for seniors. This role calls for a passion for design, a mastery of front-end development, and an analytical mind that can weave data into compelling stories of impact.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Craft engaging, user-friendly front-end applications for data visualization using React.js and various libraries such as D3.js, Recharts, Victory, and Nivo.
Develop functional prototypes and wireframes in design tools like Figma.
Translate wireframes and designs into interactive, data-rich storytelling platforms.
Collaborate across our nonprofits to visualize the intersection of aging and healthcare, driving adoption of best practices and models of care.
Utilize SQL, Snowflake, & Python for data manipulation, integrating backend data systems with frontend displays.
Bring complex datasets to life, from geriatric emergency care to telehealth, embodying our mission in every visualization.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Graphic Design, Data Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in React.js and libraries like D3.js, Recharts, Victory, or Nivo.
Demonstrated experience with SQL, Snowflake, Python, and data analytics.
A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in data visualization and front-end design.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate the story behind the data.
Must believe in public health and science.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The estimated compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000
