The Senior Deal Desk Contract Analyst will help Sales, Legal and Finance manage and monitor sales contracts and quotes. You will be responsible for reviewing contracts, approval workflows, monitoring compliance requirements within company policies and providing support to sales team. You will help to develop streamlined processes that improve efficiencies and scale for deal desk responsibilities in the sales cycle. You will monitor reporting and trends to assist with product plans collaborating with Pricing, Finance, Product Marketing and Billing for buyer revenue operations. You will be challenged to learn quickly, adapt to change, be self-motivated and demonstrate a high level of professionalism contributing to a positive team dynamic.
What you'll do:
Monitors the deal desk opportunity and quoting queue, Closing opportunities in salesforce following established rules for compliance, revenue recognition and KYC regulations while consistently maintaining SLAs and overseeing complex non-standard requests.
Reviews customer contracts for completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained prior to the contracts being executed by the customer.
Collaborates with sales timely, feedback on customer requirements and company objectives related to incorrect or missing data or documentation discovered during the review process.
Verifies revenue recognition and compliance requirements associated to deal desk responsibilities are followed and maintained in systems and ready for audit compliance.
Sales advocate to understand contract requirements and creative deal structures. Utilize strong problem solving abilities to address complex deal type and contract related issues and challenges.
Demonstrates business acumen of AvidXchange policies, processes and related systems, maintaining professionalism and a high level of accuracy.
Collaborates with internal and external business teams to identify process and efficiency improvements to enhance the quality of the contract review process and sales training opportunities.
Provides insights to support key business initiatives, creating process documentation for deal desk responsibilities.
Prioritize and manage daily workload autonomously and effectively with minimal support/guidance.
Develops collaborative working relationships across the organization through excellent communication, customer service and work product delivery.
What we are looking for:
Bachelors degree (Business, Finance, or related field)
5+ years proven experience in contract management, deal desk operations, or a related field.
Experience in reviewing contracts, managing approval workflows and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Expertise with Salesforce, DocuSign and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Basic knowledge of sales processes and contract structure and ability to highlight contractual inconsistencies and errors.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, Finance, Pricing, Product Marketing and Billing.
