Job Description:- Seeking a highly skilled Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in Database Design, DevOps, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
- The role will include collaborating directly with Agile Delivery teams and helping bridge the gap between DevOps and Delivery teams.
- The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, understand Agile delivery and be able to work independently.
- The area of the organization is forward thinking and staffing this role to prove that there is a better way to include the DevOps skillset into Agile Delivery teams.
- They will help coach and grow the cloud knowledge of the delivery team understanding how cloud deployment, pipelines, etc are utilized.
Experience:
Must Haves:
- Azure Hands On Experience for last 3+ years.
- IaC using Terraform.
- CI/CD creation and support experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, including YAML configuration, triggers, build agents, release management, and deployment strategies.
- Expert knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Proficiency in shell scripting for automating tasks and interacting with systems.
- Working experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and their integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with application servers like WebLogic and Spring Boot, ideally deployed in Docker containers.
- Experience with Node.js applications deployed in Docker containers.
- Knowledge of web server configuration with Apache httpd.
- Experience with WebLogic deployments and configuration.
- Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions like Siteminder.
- Exposure to tools like Rundeck for job orchestration (optional).
Additional Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in training and mentoring developers on CI/CD practices (preferred).
