Symetra has an exciting new opportunity to join us as a Senior Digital Product Manager - Portal Experience Platform!\n\nAbout the role\n\nAs a Senior Digital Product Manager - Portal Experience Platform, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for both the Symetra Login Experience (SLX) and for Enterprise Portal (EP) initiatives. You will use your deep business and technical expertise to guide case development, set technical direction, and manage products throughout their lifecycle. You will clearly articulate each product\u0027s value proposition to partners and make informed recommendations about when a product should evolve, be replaced, or be retired.\n\nYou will typically manage multiple major initiatives and highly complex products, building alignment across business, technical, and cross-functional partners. Check out our Symetra Benefits Overview\n\n\n\nCompensation\n\nSalary Range: $128,700 - $214,600 plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program. \n\nWho You Are: \n\n * You have a high school diploma (required) and a bachelor\u0027s degree (or equivalent industry experience), along with 10-15 years of relevant work and at least 3 years in a highly regulated industry or specialized domain.\n * Thrive as a digital product management expert, especially in customer\u2011facing web and portal experiences.\n * Demonstrate proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and modern authentication standards such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.\n * Have demonstrated knowledge of or experience with authentication and login platforms, such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping, and Auth0.\n * Familiarity with role\u2011based, tiered, and delegated access models that scale.\n * Bring awareness of MFA, adaptive authentication, and broader security/compliance considerations for access management.\n * Excel with Agile practices, using work management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira; certifications like Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master or equivalent experience are a plus.\n * Lead with influence: providing strategic direction, mentoring with intention, and guiding partners at all levels through skilled negotiation, consensus\u2011building, and cross\u2011functional facilitation.\n * Excel at transforming ambiguity into clarity using advanced analytical, problem\u2011solving, and critical\u2011thinking skills--while building trust, fostering collaboration, and making sound decisions in complex environments.\n * Some minimal annual travel required (for people manager roles only)\n\n\n\nTravel:\n\n * Required Training \u0026 Professional Development \nAll newly hired people leaders with direct reports are required to complete a comprehensive leadership development program within their first year.
