Job Description - Senior Digital Strategist, SEO & Performance Media (Hybrid)

IV Interactive – a fast-growing, award-winning, remote-first digital agency

– is seeking an experienced and dynamic

Senior Digital Strategist, SEO & Performance Media .
The Senior Digital Strategist will be responsible for the conception and execution of performance-driven digital for our clients and our agency, spanning organic (SEO), paid media, social, content planning and conversion rate optimization. This is a pivotal role at our agency, requiring a balance of strategic guidance and hands-on execution, focus on process optimization, and proven experience driving effective, efficient, and creative marketing solutions.
The Right Fit
Has a track record of developing and executing successful SEO, content and paid media strategies - and is able to articulate the approach, logic and data analysis that produced the results.
Possesses excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing clients and stakeholders.
Understands the day-to-day detail and challenges across marketing channels, including content, SEO and paid media teams.
Is hyper-organized, with experience in the definition of process and the management of complex processes and projects.
Understands recent guidance on privacy and marketing compliance, particularly within healthcare, and is familiar with solutions

What You’ll Do
Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop marketing plans for agency, clients and prospects - including competitive insights, well-defined objectives and individual action steps for execution to be followed by internal teams.
Conduct discovery with stakeholders, respond to RFPs and present marketing proposals/briefs to clients and prospects.
Develop high-level strategic content, SEO plans tailored to individual projects.
Develop high-level strategic paid media plans tailored to individual projects.
Work with internal and external teams to ensure plan adherence, effective implementation, and test and monitor results and adjust(!)
Project, Process & Team Management:
Direct management of SEO content workflow and team members.
Co-direction of paid digital with paid media lead and CEO, helping to improve process, innovation and on-strategy activation.
Lead efforts across marketing, creative production teams, working with other team leaders to ensure results and optimize client performance.
Refine and enhance paid media, SEO and CRO optimization routines.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and support across multiple teams.
Agency Sales & Lead Generation:
Develop and execute an end-to-end lead generation strategy for agency growth.
Work with other key team leaders and CEO to formalize routines for lead acquisition, qualification and sales efforts.
Additional responsibilities:
Review and refine current reporting processes to improve efficiency and insights
Evaluate the team tools and suggest improvements to MarTech stack, including implementation of AI.
Address healthcare marketing compliance, ensuring all activities adhere to necessary privacy regulations.
Integrate CRM systems to connect marketing data for both clients and for IVI.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or graduate degree - preferred in marketing, business, or a related field
10+ years work experience and 8+ years of experience in performance digital, across SEO and paid media
Experience in a leadership role managing people / projects - agency or-house role
Within travel distance of our Jersey City office, possible in-person meetings 1-4x yearly
Strong analytical skills or analytics training, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and web analytics platforms.
Experience with healthcare vertical is preferred
