Lead a system of growth and flourishing

LOVEtheLOU seeks a senior leader to translate our Healthy Block Ecosystem and Impact System vision into an integrated, measurable network of support and development for residents of five North St. Louis neighborhoods. The Impact System combines stabilization and restoration with deeper pathways that help youth, young adults, and families build identity, relationships, educational progress, career readiness, responsibility, and leadership.

What you will lead

  • Implement an annual Impact System operating plan with clear priorities, staffing, budgets, participant pathways, and outcomes.

  • Integrate LIFT (ages 12-18), LINK (ages 18-25), Learn & Earn, Maker Space, Skills Center, mentoring, career development, and assigned initiatives.

  • Build the Five-Pillar developmental benchmark system: Soul Care, Healthy Relationships, Career Pathways, Educational Experiences, and Future Mindset.

  • Operationalize Surround, Challenge, Equip, and Multiply; connect participants to support without withdrawing belonging when they experience setbacks.

  • Supervise and develop program directors and staff; establish goals, quarterly coaching, performance evaluation, and accountability.

  • Coordinate participant support and referrals through qualified partners; build partnerships with schools, employers, churches, and service providers.

  • Use Apricot or comparable case-management tools for reliable documentation, evaluation, dashboards, and improvement.

  • Steward budgets and grants and maintain youth protection, confidentiality, incident reporting, and risk-management practices.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education, training, and substantial relevant experience; master’s preferred.

  • At least six years of progressively responsible youth, family, nonprofit, workforce, or community-development experience; eight to ten or more years preferred.

  • At least three years supervising employees and demonstrated coaching/performance management; experience supervising managers preferred.

  • Experience managing budgets, partners, participant goals, outcomes, and case-management records.

  • Strong alignment with LOVEtheLOU’s Christ-centered mission, servant leadership, integrity, stewardship, and accountability.

Compensation and benefits: Recommended base salary $70,000-$90,000, depending on experience, scope, internal equity, and approved budget. Eligible employees may participate in LOVEtheLOU’s QSEHRA benefit under plan terms and other benefits under organizational policy.

How to apply: Submit a résumé and cover letter addressing systems leadership, measurable program outcomes, and alignment with LOVEtheLOU’s mission through the designated application channel. Application deadline and submission link to be confirmed before publication.
