Senior Director, Global Trade

Key Responsibilities\n\n * Provides leadership and direction through senior managers and is accountable for the performance and results of multiple compliance areas within Trade\n * Manages legal resources and significant compliance segments of global trade program and adjusts program to optimize compliance and business outcomes.\n * Utilizes expertise and experience to innovate, creating novel approaches to address trade compliance challenges\n * Closely aligns with executive leaders to align compliance program to business strategy and vice-versa\n * Other projects as assigned by Trade VP\n\n\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Expert-level understanding of Export Administration Regulations\n\n * Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different compliance concepts and controls and company systems such as SAP.\n\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Understands different business functions and strategies and uses this knowledge as well as regulatory expertise to develop compliance solutions that advance business strategies.\n\n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * Leads a significant team within Global Trade; develops and executes department or sub-functional strategy to achieve key business objectives \n\n * Experience leading cross-functional teams.\n\n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Evaluates key business challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions\n\n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Guided by company strategy and business objectives, impacts results of segment/function\n\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Influences and negotiates at the top executive levels, with great latitude on outcomes; presents and defends complicated or delicate issues\n\n\n\n\nRequired Experience and skills\n\n * JD from a nationally-recognized law school\n\n * The ideal candidate would have at least 10 years of total experience with a practice focused on trade compliance in a large, international law firm, the US Government and/or with a large technology company.\n\n * Maturity, tact, pragmatic business judgment, and sound decision-making\n\n * Strong communication and presentation skills\n\n * Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree (Required)\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n15+ Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nNone\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$192,000.00 - $264,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
