The ideal candidate is self-motivated, an effective communicator, and brings strong organizational skills along with a passion for leading a geographically dispersed team.\n\nThis critical role sets the team\u2019s priorities, leads strategic initiatives, and oversees the US international tax provision and reporting, compliance, transfer pricing, and planning. This role will also serve as a key tax advisor to business partners for strategy and operations. The tax department is collaborative and values an interactive environment, and this role requires a hybrid 2-day in office schedule. The position reports to the VP of Tax and Treasurer.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Develop and execute international tax strategies aligned with global business priorities\n * Monitor global tax law changes to ensure compliance and identify optimization opportunities\n * Overall responsibility for US international tax provision and compliance, including monitoring of tax exposures\n * Lead international tax compliance, including return preparation and filings\n * Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation in line with local regulations and global standards\n * Drive global tax planning and Pilar Two reporting\n * Stay current on international tax developments and best practices\n * Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize international operating structures\n * Advise business leaders on tax implications of transactions and initiatives\n * Manage external advisors, tax authorities, audits, and inquiries\n * Build strong relationships with finance, legal, and operations stakeholders\n * Improve and streamline international tax processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy\n * Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing international tax team\n\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n * 15+ years of progressive experience in Big 4 and US multinational corporate tax environment (technology industry preferred)\n * Deep US international tax expertise within a US-headquartered multinational, including tax compliance, reporting, planning and transfer pricing\n * Strong technical proficiency in taxation of international operations, with the ability to lead analysis and implementation of new tax laws and guidance\n * Excellent analytical, research, and project management skills, including tax modeling and quantitative analysis, and able to translate complex issues into clear and actionable business insights\n * Self-motivated, accountable, and collaborative, with demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities\n * Strong written and oral communication and people skills; effective operating with minimal supervision\n\n\n\nThe San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $259,000 to $366,200, the Atlanta base salary range is $207,200 to $293,000, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
