THE ROLE:
TEAM is seeking a strategic advisor and operator with deep healthcare experience, ideally from roll-up environments such as medical groups, radiology, veterinary services, behavioral health, or similar multi-site healthcare organizations.
This role leads targeted system transitions, acquisition integrations, and revenue cycle improvements while managing a small, high-impact team of two RCM Advisory Managers (who each have 1 analyst, total team of 4). The ideal candidate thrives in complexity, brings strong operational and advisory depth, and excels in PE-backed environments.
What You Will Do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP Finance and brand leadership.
- Guide M&A revenue cycle integration efforts.
- Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and analytics.
- Manage two RCM Advisory Managers to execute portfolio-wide projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory & Enterprise Support
- Shape enterprise RCM strategy and support brand leaders with actionable insights.
- Support system migrations, workflow redesign, and process implementation across acquisitions.
- Develop and refine RCM performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Ensure alignment with financial targets and integration priorities.
Revenue Cycle Operations & Optimization
- Advise RCM teams across our portfolio on billing, collections, authorizations, reimbursement, denial management, and payer follow-up across Medicaid, Managed Care, Waiver, and private-pay programs.
- Advise on best practices around strengthening payer relationships as it relates to the RCM process.
- Partner with BI and Data teams to drive improvements in technology, automation, analytics, and standardization.
- Negotiate organization-wide RCM contracts.
- Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance across RCM activities.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a nimble team of two RCM Advisory Managers with clear priorities and execution discipline.
- Partner with finance, operations, M&A, technology, and brand leaders during integrations.
- Influence and support without building large, centralized teams.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 10+ years of progressive revenue cycle leadership in healthcare services.
- Experience in multi-location, multi-entity environments.
- Strong background in system transitions, integrations, and acquisition support.
- Offshore vendor management experience.
- Deep understanding of Medicaid, Managed Care, commercial payers, and value-based reimbursement.
- Demonstrated ability to build KPIs, dashboards, and analytics.
- Proven success improving performance within PE-backed roll-up structures.
- Experience advising operators across diverse business models.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in medical groups, radiology, veterinary services, behavioral health, or similar roll-up healthcare environments.
- Experience implementing RCM technology, automation, or analytics systems.
- Travel required: 25% of time
