Senior Django Backend Developer

Lineup is a US based early stage startup with a vision to streamline the planning and operations management of live events. One of the main problems faced in the live events industry is artist booking, and the Lineup team is working hard to bridge the gap between artists and their agents on one side, and promoters and bookers on another side. Lineup's product will be launched in the US before expanding to other geographies. With Lineup, events are made easy.

• Developing, testing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems using the Django framework.
• Creating and maintaining RESTful APIs to support frontend applications.
• Designing and implementing data models using Django ORM and other database technologies.
• Integrating with external services, such as payment gateways, third-party APIs, and email providers.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in production systems.
• Collaborating with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Conducting code reviews and providing feedback to other developers to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Writing automated tests to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
• Participating in the development and maintenance of deployment scripts and tools to streamline the release process.

• 5+ Years of experience in web development.
• 2-3+ years of experience using Django framework.
• Experience integrating with payment gateways (e.g. Stripe) and email service providers (e.g. SendGrid).
• Comfortable working with AWS cloud services.
