We are seeking a dynamic Senior DMV Specialist who is an experienced leader providing analytical support to the Accounting Department.  The right candidate will have a sense of urgency, the ability to improve operational efficiency through thoughtful process improvement, and a strong commitment to delivering best in class service.  

What You Will Do:

• The core responsibility is performing all duties associated with the processing of DMV documents to secure the credit union lien on all funded vehicle loans. 
• Performs a variety of clerical duties including but not limited to processing private auto, dealer transfers, title/lien releases, tracking reports, member support and DMV inquiries as they arise. 
• Resolve complex title issues. Responsible for reporting to management status of all outstanding unperfected titles, with prompt follow up. 
• Takes the lead with training, onboarding, and development of DMV specialists to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Stays informed of trends and changes in the DMV field.
• Responsible for processing and completing all required DMV paperwork to ensure that the credit union lien is perfected on all vehicle loans within 120 days of loan funding.
• Provides immediate support to all branch and Contact Center team members, conducting research as needed, and administering department training sessions. 
• Ensures that all regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to and consistent to Credit Union policy.
• Serves as back-up to other DMV Processors when required. 

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of DMV processing experience or equivalent.
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills
• Critical thinking to handle complex title request
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies.
• Knowledge of various Department of Motor Vehicles title-processing requirements.
• Basic Accounting, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
• Knowledge of Consumer loan documents, DMV documents and various knowledge of DMV titling requirements for all states.

Pay Grade Info:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State.  We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies.  Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:  $23– $28 hourly
