By applying for your expertise within our facility in Pryor OK, as a Senior E & I Technician


 



  • Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for pulp and paper machinery, emphasizing the integration and configuration of Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution with a focus on DCS integration within pulp and paper mill processes.

  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts, aligning with the specific requirements of pulp and paper manufacturing and DCS specifications.

  • Program and configure PLCs and HMIs, ensuring compatibility with DCS systems and optimizing control for pulp and paper processes.

  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of control systems, with a particular emphasis on DCS functionality within the context of pulp and paper production.

  • Engage with clients in the pulp and paper industry to understand their unique requirements and deliver tailored solutions, incorporating DCS technologies.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating cutting-edge DCS technologies into control system designs relevant to pulp and paper manufacturing.

  • Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of control systems, with expertise in DCS implementation for pulp and paper mill environments.

    • Experience in a paper mill or other industrial manufacturing environment preferred

    • Strong troubleshooting skills with in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, automated valves, and calibrations

    • Familiarity with industrial communications, robotics, motion control, and AC/DC control power systems

    • Experience with PLC and DCS programming, including the ability to create, monitor, and modify control logic

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with plant personnel, engineering teams, and external contractors to ensure successful project execution

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage time efficiently

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency




 


Requirements




    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or a vocational certificate/diploma in electronic controls, instrumentation, or a related discipline (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
