Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for our vehicles, encompassing powertrain systems (diesel, hybrid, or electric), battery and power systems, wiring harnesses, lighting systems, in-vehicle electronics, and control software.
• Conduct comprehensive technical analyses to ensure system performance, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical and manufacturing engineering teams to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into the overall vehicle design.
• Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using industry-standard CAD software.
• Execute tests and analyze results to verify that electrical systems meet functional and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in automotive or off-highway vehicle design/manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing electrical systems for vehicles.
• Experience in prototyping automotive-style wiring harnesses.
• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution, control systems, and EMC/EMI principles.
• Proficiency in electrical design tools and software such as CAD, simulation tools, and PLM systems.
• Familiarity with CANBUS data networks, mobile system design, embedded systems, and microcontrollers.
• Experience with high-voltage automotive traction systems like EVs and hybrid electric vehicles is a plus.
