Job Summary:
As
Senior Electrical Engineer (Analog & Digital)
you will develop/design electrical/electronic systems to sub-assemblies for Dept. of Defense and industrial customers. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with various departments to ensure that all design and testing efforts are completed on budget, schedule, and in accordance configuration management requirements/specifications.
Candidates MUST have experience in engineering and manufacturing of electronic/electrical assemblies.
Strength in technical problem resolving based on expertise and experience, and a strong commitment to efficiently achieve high quality results is required. This specialized, technically oriented position must adhere to rigorous documentation and testing requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to Multi-Task while deadlines on budget & schedule Design and test AC & DC circuits & analysis Interpret design/acceptance test requirements and author appropriate test plans or develop ATE requirements and concepts Write technical documents
(proposals, test procedures, etc.) Create designs for power supplies, power conversion, and power distribution equipment Administrate root-cause investigation & analysis, implement corrective, preventative action, & system improvements Support product realization Strategic thought and customer communication
(sometimes between technical and lay persons) Leadership on teams Job Qualifications:
MUST
have experience in engineering and manufacturing of electronic/electrical assemblies-components-systems.
Familiarity with control devices, power devices, control relays, sequencing control, timer control, pressure control, and circuit applications.
Works independently to solve problems bringing solution options Ability to read & interpret specs, drawings/schematics, and part lists High Energy Person able to work in a changing environment while meeting multiple deadlines Strong knowledge of Quality Systems and QMS Strong analytical and computer skills (Thermal Test SW, Solidworks, Microsoft, etc.) Knowledge & Experience with: MIL-STDs, NEC, NFPA, J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 Experience with electronic hardware integration and control Experience with common communications protocols: CAN, Modbus, TCP/IP, UART, USB, and other protocols in IoT, etc. Thermal analysis & Environmental test experience, especially related to power devices and electronic/electrical assemblies Reliability Reporting of electronic/electrical systems, subassemblies, and components to MIL-HDBK-217 reliability predictions Experience with control panels, PCBAs/CCAs, electrical assemblies, power conversion and distribution equipment, to include
high voltage systems and/or storage batteries Minimum Requirements Needed:
7+ years of experience in analog design, preferably for industrial and military electrical system design, power distribution, power supplies, electronic test equipment for troubleshooting, risk assessments, and failure analysis BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or related field from an Accredited College/University Positions with CME require access to controlled goods and technologies subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations.
