Senior Electrical Project Manager

Were looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of electrical construction projects. This is a strategic leadership opportunity with a respected contractor that's been serving Connecticut and Westchester County. You will lead multiple complex projects, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

What You Will Do:
Manage multiple electrical construction projects across commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors
Provide on-site leadership and motivate project teams to meet milestones
Ensure projects align with broader business objectives and deliver operational & financial targets
Conduct cost-to-complete analysis and maintain accurate financial forecasts
Identify and mitigate risks, scope changes, and design adjustments
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules
Collaborate closely with superintendents and foremen on labor planning and performance goals
Oversee quality control and ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations
Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders to protect and enhance project margins
Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
Mentor and develop project staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
Report regularly to executive leadership, ensuring compliance with company processes and standards

What You Bring:
7+ years in project management within the electrical construction industry
5+ years managing full project lifecycles from planning to closeout
Valid CT journeyman or master electrical license (preferred)
Track record of leading complex construction projects on time and within budget
Strong financial acumen skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and improving margins
Excellent communicator and leader, with sharp problem-solving abilities
Experienced in vendor negotiations, managing change orders, and resolving conflicts

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Procore, and Project Sight
Ability to draft and manage project documentation and reports
Capable of translating technical details for both technical and non-technical audiences
