Job ResponsibilitiesResearch / Competitive Intelligence Identify and monitor key trends across our landscape and ecosystemCollect, analyze, and interpret data to form externally informed, actionable insights and enterprise-wide outlooks that are then used to formulate corporate strategyExperience in supply chain and logisticsBuild a robust competitive intelligence process to monitor activities of key industry players including competitors, suppliers, customers, and consumers

Strategic PlanningDrive the strategic planning process to define company strategy, establish strategic goals & identify strategic initiativesPerform both internal and external strategic analyses to become better informed about current business conditionsFunnel insights (industry, business, competitive analysis) to facilitate strategic plan developmentDevelop scenarios centered around variations in business outlook and assess strategic responses including capital allocationEstablish and maintain a companywide calendar to facilitate the planning processes

Business PartneringPerform the role of an in-house business consultant; Partner with teams across the organization to facilitate Deep-Dive analyses into selected businesses with varying objectives ranging from effecting a turnaround of a troubled business to accelerating the growth of a fledgling businessAssess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; research and analyze relevant industries, markets, trends to identify strategies and initiatives to address desired objectives

Performance Management and Executive CommunicationAssist in executing the Strategic Plan by supporting transformation initiatives and by facilitating tracking and reporting of key performance metricsIdentify performance gaps and facilitate coordinated actions to address issuesDevelop content that will be included in executive and board level presentationsSupport with Improving the overall performance of the business units in scopeExperience in execution of initiatives and plans

Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering preferred5-10 years’ total experience in consulting, business development, strategy, or strategic planningShould be proficient in Excel financial modeling and in creating PowerPoint presentationsMarket research and competitive analysis skillsDemonstrated capacity to perform in a fast-paced work environmentTravel Requirements: 15-20% of the time
