The Department of Technology and Enterprise Business Solutions , Office of Digital Transformation is responsible for the operations of the County's core business systems (financials, human resources, procurement, and order/warehouse management). Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) provides production support and supports business owners in meeting their operational needs, adapting to the ongoing and changing environment, reengineering business processes to improve efficiency, implementing new initiatives and staying abreast of systemic enhancements and improvements to the County's ERP systems.

What you will be doing:

ERP seeks a highly skilled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Senior Functional Business Analyst to provide support for Oracle Financials/Supply Chain applications and work cross-functionally in an Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) environment.

This position requires experience leading projects and teaming with technical staff, business owners, and management in a complex, large-scale Oracle EBS environment and significant experience with financial business processes.

The array of duties and responsibilities requires proven expertise in functional business processes and mastery of Oracle EBS to identify business needs and recommend solutions. The selected candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written skills and be able to adapt in an ever-changing environment.

The Senior ERP Functional Business Analyst should be able to:
Lead projects by assigning and monitoring tasks and providing guidance.
Advise the Application Manager for Financials/Supply Chain on issue statuses.
Facilitate meetings with analysts, business owners and team members.
Perform analysis and leading the resolution of complex and integration issues.
Create new and maintaining existing application configurations.
Conduct business requirement reviews and developing functional specifications.
Identify best practices to further streamline enterprise and business operations solutions.
Document business requirements, system configurations, detailed functional design specifications, test plans, test cases, user training guides and implementation plans.
Serve as a liaison between programmers and business owners, ensuring that technical designs meet the needs of the users.
Partner with technical and function team members to develop OBIEE models and dashboards.
Prepare and execute test plans to ensure that patches, modifications, and updates to the system are thoroughly tested before being placed in production.

The position will require work schedule flexibility including some after-hours work if necessary to meet operational or customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience

: Six (6) years of professional experience supporting financial and supply chain applications comprising experience in at least three modules of Oracle Financials and Oracle Supply Chain.

Education:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree.

Equivalency

: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Fifteen (15) semester units of computer science coursework from an accredited program and in a discipline relevant to the assignment is equivalent to a full year of related, full-time professional experience that has provided the required knowledge and abilities of the assignment.
Required educational experience is interchangeable with full-time related professional experience up to a limit of four years.
Internships completed in conjunction with coursework are excluded from being credited towards work experience, if they are counted towards educational requirements.

Medical

: Selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a Medical History Review with drug and alcohol screen prior to appointment.

Background

: Selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a background investigation prior to appointment.

Preferred Criteria

The applications of those individuals meeting the minimum qualifications will be reviewed to determine the extent, relevancy of training, and experience in the following areas:
Supporting and/or upgrading three or more modules in Oracle eBusiness
Performing data analysis for Oracle eBusiness.
Design and configuration in Oracle eBusiness.
Leading the analysis and resolution of issues in Oracle eBusiness.
Analyzing and reengineering financial modules business processes in an ERP system.
