Senior Estimator

 We are seeking an experienced millwork Senior Estimator for our rapidly growing Casework and Millwork division located in Oakdale, PA.

What you will do:

• Review of complex projects involving custom, one of a kind items which incorporate glass, metals, and other materials or trades


• Looks for a challenge and how to incorporate it into our work in a way that is advantageous to both us and our customers


• Translate architectural drawings to perform detailed take offs and itemized lists of materials.


• Lead estimating team on capital projects ensuring completion and accuracy of estimate.


• Acquire unit pricing and quotes for varying types of materials for each project.


• Work with subcontractors to determine install and subcontracted work and associated costs.


• Interpret all applicable specification divisions for compliance and build standards.


• Develop written proposals and pricing for review and possible presentation.


• Travel to job sites to develop/determine scope required to meet clients’ needs.

What you will need to be successful:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience estimating casework and millwork up to $1 million.


• Must have the ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.


• Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.


• Computer skills required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), digitized blueprint software.


• Be motivated and self-driven while progressing in a team environment.


• Creative problem-solving skills.


• Understanding of basic construction methods regarding architectural millwork.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
