HireNow Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a respected construction firm based in Staten Island, NY. This is a key leadership role for a detail-driven professional who thrives in estimating commercial and civil construction projects. You'll work alongside senior leadership and project managers to deliver accurate, competitive, and timely bid proposals that drive long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages for public and private sector projects

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract terms to determine scope and pricing

• Identify potential cost-saving measures and risk mitigation strategies

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors

• Conduct pre-bid meetings, site visits, and quantity take-offs

• Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of estimating experience in construction (civil, infrastructure, or commercial)

• Strong understanding of local and state bidding requirements

• Proficient with estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, PlanSwift)

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
