Do you have the healthcare background, technical depth, and business development skills needed to help establish Amazon as the leader for cloud services in academic medicine? Healthcare is in the midst of unprecedented transformation in light of changing patient engagement models, clinician burnout, increasing cybersecurity threats, and exciting opportunities to extend reach into underserved populations and communities. AWS enables academic medical centers in their tripartite mission of delivering tertiary care, providing clinical education, and conducting clinical research, by offering cloud-based IT alternatives that are private, secure, reliable, and cost optimized. Academic medical centers are looking to the cloud to power the transformation of care delivery, research, education, patient engagement, business innovation and agility. The AWS services for healthcare are purpose built and best-in-class for these customers.
Key job responsibilities
You will serve as the direct Executive Business Development owner of a select number of academic medical centers, and support AWS Account Executives to identify and advance opportunities within these target accounts working in partnership with the account team, solutions architects, strategic business development executives, and partner managers.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience with technology transformation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Advanced degree and clinical background
