Job Description

• Support attorneys in complex family law litigation, including divorce, custody, support, and related matters.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate discovery, organize evidence, and manage litigation files from start to finish.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness materials, and hearing documentation.
• Monitor court deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure timely filing of documents.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Assist with mediation, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Maintain organized case files and help attorneys deliver efficient, high-quality legal representation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of family law experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on family law litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of Florida family law procedures, court filings, and litigation workflows.
• Experience drafting pleadings, coordinating discovery, and preparing cases for trial.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with legal case management software, electronic filing, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Professionalism, discretion, empathy, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
