Eaton\u2019s Electronics Division is seeking a Senior Field Sales Engineer to join our team. This role is based in the California area and focuses on electronics sales. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and ability to design-in Eaton Electronics solutions. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with OEM\u0027s and EMS\u0027s within the Americas in their assigned territory and strategic accounts. \n\n\nJob Responsibilities \n\u2022 Design in Eaton Electronics solutions and increase Eaton share in the marketplace \n\u2022 You will be assigned a territory based on significance to the company and their strategic accounts \n\u2022 You will partner with regional sales director and regional sales manager for strategic direction \n\u2022 You will spend the majority of your time at key accounts (within driving range) \n\u2022 You will independently develop and implements action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels. \n\u2022 You will make recommendations to management regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling sales calls \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Minimum 3 years of experience in Electronics sales or technical selling \n\u2022 Possess valid driver\u0027s license \n\u2022 Candidates must currently reside in the California territory \u2013 no relocation will be provided for this role. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation \n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution \n\u2022 5 years within Electronics sales and technical selling \n\u2022 5 years in an outside sales or field application role\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Self-driven, accountable, passionate, Charismatic communicator, Problem solver, Spanish speaking is ideal\n * Able to Travel up to 75%\n\n\n\nThe compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $107,500 - $170,775.\n\nBase salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\n\nWe know that good benefit programs are important to employees and their families.
