As a Senior Field Sales Representative, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to independent insurance agencies across New Hampshire and Western Massachusetts, helping them grow their commercial insurance business while driving profitable results for both the agency and Utica National.

This is more than a sales role. You'll influence territory strategy, identify growth opportunities, recruit and develop agency partnerships, and collaborate with underwriting and product teams to create long-term success. What You'll Do

As a key member of our Regional Sales team, you will:

• Develop and execute territory growth strategies focused on profitable commercial lines business.


• Build strong partnerships with agency leaders, producers, and staff to drive production, retention, and long-term success.


• Identify, recruit, and onboard new agency partners aligned with our target market strategies.


• Analyze agency performance and market opportunities to help agencies maximize growth and profitability.


• Partner closely with underwriting, product, and service teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.


• Lead agency business reviews, planning sessions, training events, and marketing initiatives.


• Promote our broad commercial insurance portfolio, including Middle Market, Small Commercial, Workers Compensation, General Liability, Commercial Property, Commercial Auto, and Specialty Programs.


• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to support strategic decision-making.


• Champion customer loyalty and retention through proactive relationship management and exceptional service.


• Serve as a visible representative of Utica National within the insurance community and industry associations.

What Makes You Successful

We're looking for someone who combines industry expertise with a passion for relationship building and business development.

You may be a great fit if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance marketing, business development, underwriting, or agency management.


• Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products and distribution channels.


• Experience working directly with independent insurance agencies.


• The ability to analyze business performance and identify opportunities for profitable growth.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.


• A consultative approach to influencing and developing strategic partnerships.


• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Professional insurance designations such as CPCU, AU, INS, or a commitment to pursuing continuing insurance education.

Compensation

Senior Field Sales Representative: $93,500 - $130,000

Field Sales Representative: $72,000 - $103,000

Candidates whose experience more closely aligns with the Field Sales Representative level may be considered for that opportunity.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in our Variable Compensation Bonus Plan.

Compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, geographic location, education, professional designations, and overall qualifications.
