Senior Filtration Systems Specialist

Eaton\u2019s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Senior Filtration Systems Specialist at our Chanhassen, MN site location! This is a hybrid, role, with typical office cadence of 3 days onsite, and 2 remote. This role involves travel, which can be up to 50% in a month, but will vary based on customer demand, and travel at times will be at 0%. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nJob Summary\n\nThis role is responsible for delivering end\u2011to\u2011end technical support in North America for industrial filtration systems, encompassing on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing customer support. The position partners closely with field sales, engineering, plant operations, and laboratory teams to resolve complex equipment and system issues, support product improvements, and enable new product development. In addition, the role serves as a technical authority for customers and internal stakeholders by delivering training, conducting equipment demonstrations, managing rental fleet operations, and providing responsive onsite and remote support to ensure reliable performance, customer satisfaction, and service revenue growth. This role reports to the Global Commercial Operations Manager for the Division.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n\u2022 Ensure proper installation and operation of Eaton Filtration equipment by providing commissioning and start\u2011up services. \n\u2022 Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Eaton Filtration equipment to deliver a high level of customer service and operational reliability. \n\u2022 Partner with plant operations and engineering teams to perform root cause analysis on product or system failures. \n\u2022 Deliver technical training sessions on the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for customers, representatives, and internal employees. \n\u2022 Plan, set up, and conduct equipment demonstrations for Customer Experience Center visits and training events. \n\u2022 Support laboratory operations by assisting with test setup for customer troubleshooting activities and new product development initiatives. \n\u2022 Collaborate with engineering teams to support and implement product design changes as required. \n\u2022 Manage the North American Rental Fleet Program, including equipment preparation, start\u2011up support, technical assistance, packaging, shipping, and cleaning of returned units. \n\u2022 Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on\u2011site visits, including assistance with troubleshooting, spare parts pricing, and general filtration inquiries. \n\u2022 Comfort acting as a technical authority in high\u2011pressure situations \n\u2022 Additional Items: \no May be exposed to working conditions beyond those normally experienced in an office or shop environment, e.g. outside work; hot; wet; customer process plant environments, etc. \no Customers may require special safety training, criminal background check and drug screening tests \no Customer requirements may limit facial hair (e.g. beards and mustache). \no Limited International travel may be necessary\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Technical school degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of one (1) year of hydraulics, industrial manufacturing, oil \u0026 gas, or engineering experience; OR a minimum of five (5) years of hydraulics, industrial manufacturing, oil \u0026 gas, or engineering experience in lieu of degree\n\n\u2022 Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship\n\n\u2022 Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Chanhassen, MN. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement\n\n\u2022 Must have a valid driver\u2019s license with no restrictions\n\nPreferred:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering\n\n\u2022 Fluid Power Specialist (Hydraulics, Pneumatics and/or Electronic Controls)\n\n\u2022 1-3 years Oil \u0026 Gas experience\n\n## Position Criteria:\n\n\u2022 Ability to travel up to 50% at times based on customer demand, throughout the United States.
