The Opportunity

Our client is establishing a new entity in Nicosia, Cyprus, which will operate as an in-house banking hub for an international group. This is a unique opportunity to join from the ground up and play a foundational role in shaping the financial operations and governance framework of this newly formed structure.

As Senior Finance Expert, you will sit at the intersection of strategic finance and corporate governance, working closely with senior stakeholders across international markets. You will have meaningful exposure to executive-level decision-making at a time of significant growth.

What You Will Do

• Support operational, administrative, and governance processes for the newly established entity
• Prepare materials for risk committee meetings and support sound financial decision-making
• Coordinate board meetings and corporate governance activities
• Execute and monitor day-to-day financial operations
• Work closely with the Corporate Finance team to ensure alignment with group strategy
• Provide meaningful input into strategic financial planning as the entity evolves

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Finance, Corporate Finance, or FP&A
• Proven track record in a similarly complex or international financial environment
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA) are a strong advantage

Skills & Attributes

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities
• Rigorous, organised, and dependable — someone who takes ownership and follows through
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving structures typical of a new entity build-out
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
• Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a plus
