On behalf of our client, we are looking for a
competent, skilled, and experienced Senior Finance Manager to
work in Nairobi, Kenya.

Job Summary

This position provides a unique opportunity to find a competent
Senior Finance Manager. The position reports to the Finance Controller. The
incumbent will provide overall leadership, strategic direction and Operational
Control in the finance department. The Incumbent will supervise the
accountants.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø  Manage accounting operations including Billing,
A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue
Recognition for the Group company.

Ø  Prepare and publish timely monthly financial
statements.

Ø  Coordinate the preparation of regulatory
reporting.

Ø  Research technical accounting issues for
compliance.

Ø  Support month -end and year -end close process.

Ø  Ensure quality control over financial
transactions and financial reporting.

Ø  Control tax risk and tax plan.

Ø  Manage and comply with local, state, and federal
government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Ø  Develop and document business processes and
accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Ø  Additional controller duties as necessary.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

v  ACCA or CPA Certification is must.

v  10+ years of overall combined accounting and
finance experience or Audit work.

v  Work experience in Big Four is necessary, pwc,
Deloitte, EY, BDO.

v  Good knowledge of tax law and accounting standards.

v  Have experience in handling KRA tax audits and
maintain good KRA relationship’s ability is necessary.

v  Advanced degree in accounting
