Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Coordinates the distribution of data and reports throughout the System, engaging with different departments to educate, elucidate, and explore avenues for enhancement while ensuring data integrity.
• Constructs intricate financial models and analyses to underpin decision-making on multifaceted business matters and effectively communicate findings.
• Facilitates management's utilization and comprehension of financial data for informed decision-making, while also devising data-driven solutions to bolster the decision-making process.
• Cultivates robust relationships across the System, including with senior management, leveraging information to furnish insightful analyses and recommendations, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
• Collaborates with departmental leaders to conceive and bolster initiatives utilizing financial insights and critical analyses.
• Facilitates, trains, and contributes to the development of the annual plan, providing technical data, analytical insights, and ad hoc analyses as necessary.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of processes to elucidate variances and address inquiries, ensuring accurate implementation of updates.
• Acts as a liaison and expert advisor to operational managers on projects, cash flows, and pertinent financial issues.
• Prepares and delivers assorted written and financial reports/presentations for management analysis and project deliberation.
• Acquires applies, and mentors others on essential financial platforms.
• Takes an active role in introducing new systems, ensuring seamless integration of all reporting requisites and functionalities.
• Maintains the accuracy and timeliness of financial systems' integrity. Offers direction and training to analysts in financial modeling, data extraction methodologies, and budgetary considerations, and advocates for optimal practices in data extraction and refinement. Proficiently utilizes databases to collect, organize, and extract data essential for tracking pivotal initiatives.
• Delivers reports to elucidate discrepancies, collaborates closely with departments to scrutinize and comprehend variances, and devises action plans accordingly.
• Oversees the dissemination of standardized reports to facilitate comprehensive comprehension and evaluation of business performance. Proactively seeks opportunities to develop dashboards for senior management, offering daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual insights into key operational metrics.
• Produces ad hoc reports by leveraging financial, statistical, or patient visit data sources.
• Offers technical and informational support, as well as guidance, to others in utilizing these resources effectively.

Experience Preferred of the Senior Financial Analyst:

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• They should demonstrate expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for conducting intricate analyses.
• A robust problem-solving aptitude coupled with analytical acumen is essential.
• An eagerness to learn, develop, and assume greater responsibilities is imperative.
