As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will help Micron achieve its goals by providing important analysis to its sales organization and business units! You will serve as a key business partner by providing insight on how selling prices, volume, and mix effect forecasted and actual revenue. Responsibilities and Tasks:
Assist with quarterly world-wide revenue forecasting and reporting
Prepare weekly reports providing key insights to changes in our revenue plan
Build custom and multifaceted reports that help drive better decision making and provide business insights
Collaborate with the sales and accounting teams to understand how rebates and other revenue adjustments effect our business plan
Compile key reports for our Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Sales Leadership Team
Individual requirements:
Minimum 3 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Controlling, or related fields in the manufacturing industry
Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI and SQL skills are a plus. Experienced with sophisticated financial modeling
Organized, meticulous, and strong focus on accuracy. Able to deliver work product on established timelines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service
Ability to develop and understand accounting policies, procedures, and department objectives and apply that knowledge when making decisions
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal direct supervision
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
