We're seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer (PE) to join a nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm supporting complex federal and military healthcare projects across the United States and internationally. What You'll Do
Review fire protection system designs for compliance with NFPA, UFC, and applicable codes and standards
Evaluate fire suppression and detection system documentation, testing results, and acceptance reports
Coordinate with architects, engineers, project stakeholders, and installation fire department representatives
Prepare technical reports, review summaries, recommendations, and quality assurance documentation
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on fire protection engineering best practices
Support multidisciplinary project teams throughout design and review phases
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
10+ years of fire protection engineering experience
Strong knowledge of NFPA, UFC, and applicable fire protection codes and standards
Experience designing fire protection systems for government or federal projects
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
