The Role

As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer you will deliver Retell's voice AI solutions to enterprise clients, embedding with their teams to build production-ready systems. You will bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, drive adoption and shape the platform through customer insights.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery on Retell's voice agent platform, from prototype to production, communicating progress and risks clearly.
• Become a go-to expert on building voice AI solutions, especially LLM prompting.
• Build full-stack integrations (Python, JavaScript) with enterprise tools such as CRMs, ERPs and scheduling systems.
• Partner with sales to gather requirements, prototype demos and present system designs.
• Scope projects, resolve blockers and keep teams aligned.
• Codify reusable patterns into tools or platform components, and turn field feedback into product and GTM recommendations.

• Senior-level software engineering experience with customer-facing delivery
• Full-stack skills in Python and JavaScript (React, Node.js)
• Strong LLM prompting and integration skills
• Exceptional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in person in Redwood City 5 days a week
