Careem’s Finance team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions and financial discipline across all business verticals. We partner closely with teams across the organization to guide strategy, allocate resources efficiently, and drive sustainable growth.

About the Role

We are looking for an Strategic Finance Analyst (L8) to join our Finance team in Karachi. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role that supports financial planning, budgeting, and performance reporting for key lines of business. The role demands strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making


• Conduct variance analysis and deliver insights on business performance across metrics


• Partner with business and vertical finance teams to understand trends, risks, and opportunities in financial performance


• Support month-end closing activities and preparation of management reporting packs


• Assist in scenario planning and strategic modeling to inform leadership decisions


• Continuously improve reporting tools and data quality to enhance forecasting accuracy

What You'll Need

• 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analytics


• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; comfort working with large data sets


• Exposure to ERP or FP&A tools (e.g. Oracle, MS Dynamics) is a plus


• High attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information clearly


• Team player with strong communication skills and stakeholder orientation


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
