Senior Full Stack Developer - SAAS & AI Platforms

ROLE & RESPONSIBIILITIES

CyKor is seeking a senior, hands-on Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain secure software products, internal tools, and enterprise integrations. 

This role will work across the full software-development lifecycle - from requirements and architecture through user experience, application development, APIs, data models, testing, deployment, and production support. The Developer will work closely with company leadership and business stakeholders to turn ideas and operational needs into reliable, maintainable software. 

Because CyKor is establishing a new software capability, this person will also help evaluate the current environment, establish practical engineering standards, and recommend the additional technical skills, platforms, tools, and specialized resources needed as the portfolio grows. 

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production software across front-end, back-end, API, and data layers. 
• Develop secure internal and customer-facing web applications. 
• Translate business and operational requirements into maintainable, releasable product increments. 
• Build and maintain integrations across CyKor’s software ecosystem and business systems, beginning with Salesforce and expanding as business requirements evolve. 
• Design secure and maintainable APIs, authentication mechanisms, data models, synchronization processes, and event-driven integrations. 
• Develop reusable services and integration capabilities that can support multiple software products and business functions. 
• Design appropriate authentication, authorization, role-based access control, auditing, and data-handling capabilities. 
• Package applications as portable containers for consistent development, testing, and production deployment. 
• Establish practical patterns for application configuration, secrets management, logging, monitoring, testing, release management, and recovery. 
• Work with internal infrastructure, security, IT, business, and external specialist resources as required. 
• Participate in architecture decisions and clearly explain technical options, constraints, risks, and tradeoffs. 
• Help leadership evaluate engineering capacity, technical gaps, platform requirements, and future hiring or contracting needs. 
• Produce automated tests, technical documentation, architecture records, deployment procedures, and supportable code. 
• Participate in code reviews and help establish CyKor’s software-development standards. 
• Investigate production issues and contribute to the reliable operation of released software. 
• Help evaluate and guide additional developers and technical specialists as the software portfolio grows. 
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve delivery speed, quality, documentation, testing, and problem resolution. 

• 7+ years of professional software-development experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience delivering production systems. 
• Demonstrated success building and operating production SaaS, enterprise, and business-critical software. 
• Strong full-stack experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue. 
• Strong backend-development experience using Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#, or a comparable production language. 
• Experience designing and consuming REST, event-driven, messaging-based, or similar APIs. 
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling, schema migrations, and performance-conscious application design. 
• Working knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and role-based access control. 
• Experience integrating enterprise or third-party software using APIs, webhooks, events, or data synchronization. 
• Experience with Git-based development, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD practices. 
• Experience packaging and running applications with Docker or another OCI-compatible container runtime. 
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or another container-orchestration platform. 
• Ability to work effectively in an environment where requirements, architecture, and priorities continue to evolve. 
• Ability to move between architectural thinking and hands-on implementation. 
• Ability to communicate technical decisions and risks clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. 
• Sound judgment when working with confidential company and customer information. 
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools while independently reviewing generated work and retaining ownership of the final product. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes operators, Helm, or GitOps deployment patterns. 
• Experience integrating Salesforce or comparable enterprise business platforms. 
• Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS applications. 
• Experience developing AI-enabled applications or integrating language models and AI services into production software. 
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, message brokers, object storage, or event-streaming platforms. 
• Experience with structured logging, metrics, tracing, observability, and production diagnostics. 
• Familiarity with secure software-development practices, dependency management, software bills of materials, and vulnerability remediation. 
• Experience establishing engineering practices within a new or growing software organization. 
• Experience helping leadership distinguish between immediate technical needs and capabilities that should be hired, contracted, or deferred.
