Senior Gate Keeper Job Description

Description

The Senior Gate Keeper must be able to perform all Gate Keeper functions. The Gate Keeper will monitor daily activity for all vehicles entering and exiting both facilities by utilizing the electronic gates and assisting all visitors when necessary.  This position represents Palram from all aspects and all interaction should be handled with professionalism. 

In addition to the Gate Keeper functions above, the Senior Gate Keeper will enter and maintain employee training information in the training database.  The Senior Gate Keeper is also responsible for maintaining all instructions for the Gate Keeper functions and training others assigned to Gate Keeper tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acts as first point of contact to visitors at our facility.


• Checks identification upon arrival when necessary.


• Initiates contact with a Palram employee on behalf of visitors which require assistance.


• Acts as a liaison with our Logistics team to coordinate customer pick-ups and deliveries.


• Responsible for the Bulk Delivery process which includes weighing, printing of tickets and communication with our PVC/PC Raw Material Coordinators.


• Responsible for entering data into the online training database which includes employee details and training information.


• Scans and uploads relevant training documentation.


• Provides reports when requested.


• Trains others on Gate Keeper functions when necessary.


• Uses SAP to assist with Quality Assurance Yellow Tag process.


• Understands and practices safety procedures and precautions.


• Assists other departments when requested.


• Responsible to perform other duties and activities as directed
