Senior Geothermal Well Engineer

Designs, reviews and advises on Well Proposal and Basis of Design and follows the execution of programs technically for geothermal wells drilling. Prepares \u0026 reviews Well Programs and End-of-Well reports. Reviews and advises on well operations procedures. Participates in cost estimation and cost efficiencies for geothermal wells drilling. Assures Technical Integrity of Well Operations programs. Reviews and approves project well control briefing. Ensures proper communication with relevant parties (client, internal teams etc.). Reviews new technology portfolio for possible application to project. Use, record and establish best practices, lessons learned and technical alerts. Ensures best practices and lessons learned are transferred between projects. Ensure the highest standards of Safety and quality are followed. Participates in service quality investigations when required. Anticipates operational changes and needs and revises plan accordingly. Initiates engineering studies to solve recurring problems. Bachelor\u0027s degree in petroleum engineering. Minimum 15 years of drilling engineering experience with a minimum of 10 years of experience in geothermal drilling Extensive experience in geothermal well design, drilling operation and drilling programs. Extensive experience in a consultancy capacity advising clients on geothermal well drilling and operations. Excellent technical writing and ability to produce reports to external clients Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a cross-functional team and thrive for the success of the projects. Candidates must be able to work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
