As a

Regional HR Advisor

, you'll serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders in North America, leading the Country Focus Group and spearheading seamless implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives and growth ambitions. Collaborating with our North American teams, primarily based in remote settings with offices in Chicago and the Charlotte Metro area, you'll play a pivotal role in driving employee engagement and HR initiatives in conjunction with the Country Focus Group. Basware has employees in multiple states throughout America, with our headquarters location in the greater Charlotte Metro area.

Additionally, you'll serve as the

HR Business Partner

for our global Marketing Function, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, including the CMO and their leadership team. This role offers firsthand insights into leveraging people & culture activities for business success, working across North America and Europe with concentrated early morning hours due to our global footprint. In your role, you will be part of the global HR team as well as an active member in the Marketing Leadership Team reporting to the Director, Human Resources.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You:

Excel in both strategic planning and operational execution, adept at handling both the big picture and the details, and enjoying the strategic and operational part of the role

Possess pragmatic and systematic approaches to work, navigating a globally distributed agile organization effectively

Key Responsibilities Include:

Managing employee relations, fostering a conducive workplace culture to enhance employee engagement, addressing grievances and disciplinary actions while ensuring legal compliance

Engaging stakeholders to drive cross-functional business objectives

Facilitating global HR processes such as employee engagement surveys and recognition initiatives

Supporting managers in implementing HR initiatives and coaching on organizational change and transformation

Overseeing the full employee lifecycle including ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires

Proactively proposing enhancements to HR processes to improve team and organizational effectiveness

Participating in the recruitment process including conducting interviews

As Our Business HR Partner to the CMO, You'll Be Responsible for:

Resource and organization planning

Talent acquisition through our in-house recruitment team

Career framework facilitation for Marketing

Function salary cost management and forecasting

Execution of annual people processes

Employee engagement initiatives

Strategic competence development

Compensation and reward planning and management

The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience in HR or related consulting roles, including organizational design and change, resource planning, job design, performance management, compensation, benefits, payroll management, and redundancy advisory

Strong project and change management skills

Ability to understand the big picture and translate it into operational goals and tasks

Effective communication and relationship-building skills, and ability to build strong relationships with the global HR community, key stakeholders and Business Leaders

Structured and organized ways of working, with a proactive approach

Passion for continuous improvement and innovation

Interest in leveraging technology for optimizing work processes

Analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail

Experience in global, fast-paced environments

HR Degrees and Professional Certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus
