OVERVIEW
The

Senior HR Manager & Business Partner – Americas Commercial Organization

will provide overall strategic and operational direction for HR within globalcommercial functions of Sales and Marketing. In partnership with the Senior Director of Human Resources, and the senior leadership teams of Sales and Marketing, the individual is responsible to develop and implement strategies that secure long term succession health in core capabilities, build a self-directed work environment, and improve engagement to drive sustainable performance. They are also accountable to ensure communicationand performance management solutions are designed and in place to empower associates to deliver our strategic commitments. The position will serve as a direct member of the Americas’ Sales and Marketing Leadership teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR business partnership with the Americas sales and marketing leadership teams on the development and execution of a strategic talent management solutions
Prioritizing and securing a plan around our strategic differentiating and core capabilities in sales (selling, sales operations, revenue management – pricing) and marketing (research & insights, creative, end-user, category, and channel).
Defining and leading a network focused on talent management, deploying key programs, and ensuring sustainable change against strategic commitments.
Identifying areas requiring global consistency and rigor vs. regional/local flexibility
Significant influencer of Sales & Marketing executives and senior leaders regarding people and talent planning and accountability.
Supports the implementation and/or execution of the commercial organizational effectiveness strategy by developing processes, tools, and metrics, tracking, and managing dependencies, collaborating with internal and external partners to guide and execute optimal organizational transformation.
Partners with compensation in each geography to ensure a fit for purpose total rewards strategy, proper job sizing to market (internal, external equity) and administration.
Aligns and educates/coaches the leadership requirements to drive cultural and organizational effectiveness goals.
Oversee and support the implementation and sustainability of the strategic talent management strategy across global operations.
Coaches and guides change management efforts within key tactical, strategic, and transformational initiatives and activities.
Oversee and strengthen workforce planning solutions, inclusive of succession planning, attraction/retention of talent, training & development, etc.
Leverage and maximize all tools, technology, and resources to develop talent.
Administering people end-to-end employment administration procedures with some support of system enablement.
Leverage people analytics, trends, and insights to drive decision making.
Lead, influence, and empower the organization to fulfill our purpose (living our legacy, shaping our future, and winning as one).
Cultivate a diverse and inclusive culture where associates can thrive, make us better and fuel ideas/innovations to ensure our long-term success.
This position will also oversee and participate in special business projects across multiple functional areas.
This position will also lead one direct report (our corporate office & administrative coordinator) while also overseeing the corporate office facilities management responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progress HR business partner positions in corporate environments/functions required with a minimum of 6 at the manager level or above required, and a minimum of 2 years working with a remote sales organization preferred.
Proven experience in corporate HR Business Partner roles where accountabilities included organizational design, senior leadership coaching/counsel, organizational effectiveness, talent management, strategy development and implementation are required.
Experience influencing senior leaders/executives, with examples of proven success.
Experience as an HR Business Partner serving different teams/channels/functions simultaneously – from executive to front-line-professional is required.
Within the HR function there are many paths to this role, but proven experience with strategic talent management, business solutions development, organizational design and effectiveness transformation and leadership development will be important.
The ideal candidate would have experience and a high degree of comfort as a frequent participant, contributor, and owner of strategic business discussions and decisions.
International experience can be ideal, not required, as the scope of this role influences internationally (U.S., Canada & Mexico).
Experience in leading HR in a matrixed organization is required.
Have a proven ability to engage and lead with field associates is required – both nationally and internationally is preferred.
REPORTING, DIRECT REPORTS, TRAVEL
This position will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources.
This position will have one direct report within the present structure.
This position will have infrequent travel, 15% or less per year.
